Per legal filings, the suspect allegedly involved in the shooting targeting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk exchanged a series of SMS communications with his housemate following the shooting.

Prosecutors indicated that the roommate notified investigators that the accused had directed him to look under his keyboard where a message was allegedly discovered.

Law enforcement noted that the individual was transitioning and had been in an intimate partnership with the accused.
